Im taking all of the windows out of your apartment
So I can be the only sunlight that can comes in
And when your time is right I’ll make sure that I’m there
When you’re waking up to the sounds of your own heart monitor
“Hooray are you dead yet?” says the girl who collects on a deathbed
I’m sorry for her
This blood means nothing, I know
I was once a sign of hope
But I can’t be yours
You’re waltzing slowly to our demise on your radar
the future’s crossed it’s arms, it plans on staying dark
And when you’re time is right I’ll make sure I’m there
When the radiators whistle you to sleep inside the dream you’ll want to keep
The only good things I love
Are gone
I’m from your star
But we learned
You’re not determined
Perfectly encapsulates the teenage experience. Finding this album while still young and in high school was the best decision I've made in quite awhile. charlesjr
Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long.
