Im stuck in this bubble I’ve been meaning to pop where
The dime of the dozens’ the cream of the crop
Yours truly, quite brutally is falling apart
The mornings you wake are at heavens sake when
The coffee and cigs are taking their breaks from you
Then they all want to know how I do?
Then this girl walks in a fucking force of nature
You can’t prepare yourself for this kind of disaster
so I’ll take a rain check on the move and break it down
And face the noise from my future and former self
Make my break for the exit stairwell
Brace myself just one nice drag at a time
I find out she works a steady job making babies smile under the knife
Yeah she groves to a juno too
I’m somewhat enthused
For all the condescending things I do, I’m getting so damn used to you
So now I’ll take you for a ride
But if you fall don’t try and save yourself
The moment I start taking up your time
We’ll call it null
I’ll be singing back my old songs

I first heard this in 2011 when it came out. Probably on Reddit or something. Anyway, I just rediscovered it in 2020, and god damn, this is a fun album. Heartfelt lyrics, fun pop-punk guitar riffs, incredible energy, and the type of vocals you hear in bands that play in basements until the singer is hoarse. I can't recommend this album enough if you wanna hear some kids rip shit for 20 minutes. This will make you feel young again. Ryan Curtiss

Catchy but heartfelt pop punk. I love it when bands can make their music as relatable as Real Friends do. You guys are awesome.
